Overnight Adventure Week

August 4 – 9, 2019

Welcome to Overnight Adventure Week  – Camp Raanana’s special partnership camp with the Michigan United Conservation Club! This week of resident camp is specially designed for Atid campers (children entering grades 6-8), and is a rich combination of outdoor experiences that will truly inspire them to engage in Tikkun Olam – repairing our world. Campers will participate in a variety of activities like kayaking, fishing, survival skills, wildlife surveys, hiking, archery, and more. There are plenty of hands-on outdoor activities for campers to explore and discover their outdoor interests!

As a partnership camp, two experienced MUCC counselors and one experienced Camp Raanana counselor will be the staff team supervising and living with the Outdoor Adventure campers. They will support daytime activities, and build camper confidence with the resident aspects of camp. In addition, MUCC specialists will provide outdoor adventure experiences unique to this special program. MUCC Camp Director, Max Bass, will supervise all activities, as well as campers and staff.
